What this is

Know Thyself is seven short, well-established questionnaires about ordinary personality, scored deterministically, presented alongside their real range so a number is never quoted without context. It is not a clinical assessment, not a diagnostic tool, and not administered or reviewed by any licensed professional. Nothing it produces is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Who can use it

You need to be old enough in your jurisdiction to agree to these terms on your own behalf. Only answer for yourself. If you add a person you're proxy-managing (someone who hasn't made their own account), you're representing that you have their knowledge and consent to do so on their behalf — a child, for instance, with a parent answering thoughtfully about them, is a reasonable use; entering answers as someone else without their knowledge is not.

Partner linking

Inviting someone to link accounts sends them an email with your name and an accept/decline link. Accepting means they're agreeing to have their own answers compared against yours — that comparison is the only thing either of you sees of the other. You're each responsible for what you do with a reading once you've read it; we don't referee what you say to each other about it.

What you must not do

• Use any reading — yours or a linked partner's — to make or inform a decision about hiring, promotion, termination, lending, insurance, housing, or anything else with a legal or similarly significant effect on a person. This applies with particular force to the Career adviser's colleague/manager reading: it describes how two people's working styles compare, and must never be used to screen, rank, evaluate, or select between candidates or employees.
• Use the product to profile, monitor, or make inferences about someone without their knowledge.
• Attempt to access another account's data outside the mechanisms this product actually provides (there is no support ticket that will get you someone else's raw answers — the database itself doesn't allow it).
• Resell, scrape, or bulk-export the persona/celebrity-match content for another product.

Bring-your-own-key models

If you connect a model key, you're responsible for that provider's own terms, costs, and rate limits. We validate that a rewrite keeps the same evidence and disclaimer as the deterministic original before displaying it, but we don't control what a third-party model actually returns.

No warranty

Provided as-is. Personality questionnaires answered once, on one day, describe a tendency, not a fixed fact about you or anyone else — treat every reading, including the celebrity/character matches, as a starting point for a conversation, never a verdict.

Ending your access

You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this is immediate and permanent, and is covered in more detail in Privacy. We may suspend an account that violates the section above, particularly any attempted use for hiring, screening, or evaluation of another person.
