Personal relationship intelligence
Local-first.Private by design.
Everything in Quiet Window, plus a private command center that runs on your machine.
In development
The desktop app is not available to download yet.
Runs on your machine
Your records live in a local database. Model calls are off unless you configure a provider.
Lives in your tray
Close the window and Quiet Window stays at hand, with what needs you in the tray menu.
Asks before it acts
Drafts wait for your approval, and editing a draft means approving it again.
Mac · Windows · Linux
Native bundles for each. The Windows installer carries its WebView runtime installer.
How it works
Three parts, all on your computer.
You should not have to remember everything. Paul keeps track of the people, conversations, promises and opportunities that matter, then helps you make the right next move.
Model-written drafts are optional. When you configure a model provider, the relevant context for a draft is sent to that provider; without one, Paul drafts locally and makes no model calls.
The command center
You should not have to remember everything.
Paul remembers the relationship, not just the message. The first screen is the working loop: who needs you, what you promised, what is ready to send, and what is waiting on your decision.
Priority inbox
Messages ranked by what deserves your attention, with the reason on hand when you ask why.
Open loops
The commitments and requests hiding in conversations, kept apart from ordinary messages until they are closed.
Drafts
Replies prepared in your own voice, editable before anything happens.
Identity reviews
When two accounts look like the same person, Paul asks. Merges are your decision, never hidden automation.
Approval-gated automation
Routine actions run only inside rules and permissions you set, and every side effect waits for your approval.
Powerful enough to act. Polite enough to ask.
Capability does not imply permission. Nothing important gets sent carelessly.
Local-first
Your records stay on your machine.
The desktop app is built so the work happens on your own computer.
A local API that only you can reach
Quiet Window runs its own Rust service beside the app, on the loopback address 127.0.0.1. It keeps your data in a local database, and every request except a health check must carry this install's own token.
A window that only talks to localhost
A strict content security policy lets the app load its own files and connect only to itself and to services on this computer.
Shut down when you quit
Quitting Quiet Window also stops the local service it started. Nothing is left running behind your back.
Quiet Window on the web is a hosted, account-based service: you sign in, and your data is stored with your account. The desktop app is local-first.
Always at hand
It lives in your menu bar and system tray.
Closing the window hides Quiet Window rather than quitting it, so it is there when something needs you.
- Restore the workspace, or jump straight to Today, People, Open Loops, Drafts and Approvals, Automation or Settings.
- See what needs attention: priority inbox, open loops, drafts and identity reviews.
- See whether the local API is running.
- Quit explicitly, which also stops the local service.
Everything on the web
And the whole of Quiet Window comes with it.
The same seven parts you know from the web, running beside the command center.
Today
Where you are, and the next step worth taking: your readings, goals, journal and practice in one place.
Know
Know Thyself: seven research-grounded readings on Empathy, Morality, Personality, Orientation, Workstyle, Entrepreneurship and Reasoning.
Goals
A map of what you are becoming, weighted by what actually matters to you. Not a to-do list.
Practice
Short, concrete exercises, a few minutes each, backed by real practice rather than a vague intention.
Journal
RISE: four journeys to reflect, take inventory, strengthen and envision. Nothing in it is scored.
People
You and someone close, side by side: where you meet, where you differ, and a conversation worth having.
Learn
Short, real lessons on self-awareness, communication, mindset and relationships. A couple of minutes each.

The desktop app is being built now. When there is something to install, this page will say so. Until then, Quiet Window is ready on the web.
